Today, we will recount one story and you will feel pleased with that, it’s a story of one village of Rajasthan named Piplantri where girls not thought as a burden to the family but rather they commend the birth of a girl child by planting around 111 plants.
This glorious village is Piplantri in the Rajsamand district of southern Rajasthan where individuals commend the introduction of each girl child by planting 111 saplings. Villager’s former sarpanch Shyam Sundar Paliwal is the man behind the beginning of this drive. He began the scheme in 2006 in the affectionate memory of his daughter Kiran, who died at a young age. Aside from sustaining saplings, the parents are made to sign an oath promising that they will not marry off their daughters before the legal age of 18 years and they will not practice female foeticide.

Not exclusively are trees planted when a girl child is conceived but the Panchayat collects around Rs. 10,000 from the parents, Rs. 31,000 from Bhamashahs and givers/donors are undeniably collected. Then this Rs. 41,000 fixed deposit is made. 
The Panchayat will keep a record of it and when the FD stays in salvageable shape until the girl turns 18 years old. The girl’s guardian is required to sign this promising letter and course of action will be taken for her education. In this letter it is additionally mentioned that the girl can be married only at the age of 18 years. No family members should be involved in killing of girl child and they should take care of the plant which they have planted during the birth of their girl child.
