DIBRUGARH - ARRIVAL – SIGHTSEEING
A major city in the northeastern region of India in line with cities like Guwahati and Bhubaneswar, Dibrugarh is the emerging communication and industrial hub of North East India. It is the largest city of Assam located 439 km from Guwahati.
Deriving its name from the word "Dibrumukha", the name of the river 'Dibru' with the word 'mukh' meaning mouth, Dibrugarh, is a city and is the headquarters of the Dibrugarh district in the state of Assam in India. Dibrugarh is also one of the two main cities in the state of Assam to receive urban development aid from the Asian Development Bank and is the nerve centre of industry, communication and healthcare of the upper Assam region. The city of Dibrugarh is emerging as a popular destination for business and leisure trips for tourists from India and abroad. This city is loaded with nature and culture and is the destination to unwind yourself.
Buridihing, a tributary of Brahmaputra, divides the Dibrugarh district from east-to-west. Buridihing flows through Naharkatia and Khowang, and at a later stage in its course, Buridihing acts as a divider between Dibrugarh and Sivasagar districts. This beautiful city is the gateway to the three tea-producing districts of Tinsukia, Dibrugarh, and Sivasagar. These three areas account for approximately 50% of India's Assam tea crop, and this gives Dibrugarh the rightly earned sobriquet as the "Tea City of India". Oil and timber are the other two big industries in and around Dibrugarh. Later start excretion trip to Bogibeel Bridge (35 KMS / 1 HRS ONE WAY) is the longest rail-cum-road bridge in India measuring 4.94 kilometres over the Brahmaputra River.

Afternoon visit Radha Krishna Mandir, a Hindu temple constructed of marble. Jagannath Temple, a replica of the Lord Jagannath Temple, Puri, Odisha.

Bogibeel bridge is a combined road and rail bridge over the Brahmaputra river in the north eastern Indian state of Assam between Dhemaji district and Dibrugarh district, which was started in the year 2002 and took a total of 200 months to complete, heavy rainfall in the region being the main cause for the slow progress. Bogibeel river bridge is the longest rail-cum-road bridge in India measuring 4.94 kilometres over the Brahmaputra river. As it is situated in an earthquake-prone area it is India's first bridge to have fully welded steel-concrete support beams that can withstand earthquakes of magnitudes up to 7 on the Richter Scale. It is Asia’s 2nd longest rail-cum-road bridge and has a serviceable period of around 120 years. It is the 5th longest bridge in India after Bhupen Hazarika Setu, Dibang River Bridge, Mahatma Gandhi Setu and Bandra-Worli Sea Link. The bridge was constructed by a consortium of construction companies headed by Hindustan Construction Company. The bridge has a double rail line on the lower deck and a 2 lane road on the upper deck. It was inaugurated by prime minister Narendra Modi on 25th December 2018 on the occasion of Good Governance Day.

The Jagannath Temple is located on the outskirts of the city of Dibrugarh, at a distance of about 6 kms from the city center. The Jagannath Temple in Dibrugarh is a replica of the Shri Jagannath Temple in Puri, Odhisha. It is a marvelous architectural fete with crafting in red stone. The main sanctum is located on a high platform. The atmosphere is quite serene and you can feel the holiness of the temple seeping in your body when you visit. There are lush green tea gardens all around the temple. It is not much crowded and you can spend quality time in peace.

Radha Krishna Mandir is located on the northeastern side of the city of Dibrugarh in Assam, at a distance of 5 kms from the city center. The temple is built with donations from the wealthy Jalan family. The main temple is housed on the first floor of the sanctum. The priests are quite helpful in aiding you perform your prayers. The temple is built in quite a spacious area. There is a serenity that you will experience in the temple. It is located near the Assam Medical College and is a dedication to Radha and Krishna, the Hindu Goddess and God. The weather is towards the cooler side and while travelling to the city, it is advised to carry warmer clothes. Other things like first aid, sun blocks, and moisturizers are also advised as carry-on. The best time to visit the city is during the months from October to March. Radha Krishna Mandir can be visited during timings 6:00 AM - 8:00 PM. It is open on all days of the year.

DIBRUGARH - SIVASAGAR SIGHTSEEING (90 KMS / 2 HRS ONE WAY)
Post breakfast we will start a mesmerising full day trip to Sivasagar.
Sivasagar literally known as ‘the ocean of Lord Shiva’ is strewn with the tells-tale ruins of powrefull Ahom Empire. It is a beautiful town located around “Sivasagar”- a manmade lake constructed by the Ahom King Rudra Singha is honour of his mother Joymoti. This lake is considered to bebiggest manmade lake in the country. The shiva Temple (104 ft) on the banks of this lake is believed to be the highest Shiva temple in India.
Afternoon visit to Ranghar, Naduar, Talatal Ghar, Heritage Jaysagar.

The Talatal Ghar (Assamese is located in Rangpur, 4 km from present-day Sivasagar, in Upper Assam. Of all Ahom ruins, it is one of the grandest examples of Tai Ahom architecture. The Talatal Ghar is also the largest of all Tai Ahom monuments. Visitors nowadays can only view the ground floor, the first floor, and what remains of the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Talatal Ghar. The floors of the Talatal Ghar below the ground have been sealed off.

DIBRUGARH – DIBRU SAIKHOWA NATIONAL PARK
Post breakfast start an excretion trip to Dibru Saikhowa National Park. It is one of the most notable national parks of the state. It covers an area of about 340 sq.km. The main attractions of this national Park are its feral horses and the white winged wood duck. Apart from this, the other animal which can be seen here are leopards, clouded leopards, elephants, sambars, slow loris, indian wild water buffaloes, capped Iangurs & gangetic river dolphin. More than 250 varieties of local and migratory birds are also found in this park.

Dibru Saikhowa National Park is one of those places which boast of a rich collection of flora and fauna, many of them endangered. It is one of the few remaining protected sites in the Endemic Bird Area of the Assamese Plains. Dibru Saikhowa National Park is a river island national park and one of the 19 biodiversity hotspots in the world. This National Park is situated 12 km north of Tinsukia in Assam. Of the seven parts of the park, one is a wetland and the rest is mainly covered with grasslands and dense forest. Animal life to be viewed in their natural habitat includes royal Bengal tiger, hoolock gibbons and leopards, it is also home to some restricted-range species, such as the White-winged Wood Duck, Bengal Florican, Lesser Adjutant Stork, spotted-billed Pelican, White-bellied Heron, Pallas's Fish Eagle, Swamp Partridge, Jerdon's Babbler, Black-breasted Parrotbill and Striated Grassbird. Marsh Babbler, Swamp Prinia and Yellow Weaver. There are no roads and hence no jungle safari or elephant rides for roaming in the park, so you can explore the park only by trekking, although boat service is available which can take you to various spots. Guijan Ghat and Saikhowa Ghat are the national park's entry points.

If there is any extra or additional cancellation policy of airline, cruise, hotels etc. the client will be responsible for the same and have to be paid by the client.
