The Calico Museum of Textiles in Ahmedabad is the premier textile museum of India. It is one of the most celebrated institutions of its kind in the world, for its distinguished and comprehensive collection of Indian textiles. This museum contains one of the world’s finest collections of antique and modern Indian textiles, all handmade and up to 500 years old. There are some beautiful pieces, displaying incredible virtuosity and extravagance. Sabarmati Ashram is the biggest tourist attraction, located on the tranquil and serene stretch of Sabarmati River in Ahmedabad. Mahatma Gandhi's father was appointed the Diwan of Rajkot State and resided in what is today known as Kaba Gandhi no Delo, a beautiful house that offers a tantalising glimpse into Mahatma Gandhi's early life with bilingual captions in both Hindi and Gujarati. It is a place where Gandhiji spent early days of his life from 1881 to 1887AD, the house was constructed in 1880-81 AD and built in a Saurashtrian style of architecture, with arched gateways and courtyards. The beautiful building contains items related to Gandhi like photographs, objects and his personal belongings. After visiting the Somnath temple we drive to Diu. Diu is a tiny island in the Arabian Sea which is situated near the port of Veraval in Gujarat. Diu is a sensuous blend of sun, sand & deep blue sea. Somnath Temple is a significant temple, comprising one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Located in Prabhas Kshetra near Veraval, Somnath Mandir is a symbol of rich cultural heritage of India. This temple is believed to have been built in gold by the moon god Soma, in silver by the sun god Ravi, in wood by Krishna and in stone by the Solanki Rajputs in the 11th century. The present temple, built in 1951, is the 7th reconstruction on the original site. Temple was invaded several times by muslim rulers, but restored to its original glory. Constructed in the Chalukyan style with a shikhara nearly 50 m tall, temple's architecture includes intricate carvings, silver doors, an impressive Nandi idol and the central shivalinga.

Gandhi memorial museum was designed by Charles Correa, is located in the Ashram where the Mahatma lived from 1917 to 1930. The Palitana temples of Jainism are located on Shatrunjaya hill by the city of Palitana in Bhavnagar district, Gujarat, India. The city of the same name, known previously as Padliptapur, has been dubbed "City of Temples". Shatrunjaya means a "place of victory against inner enemies" or "which conquers inner enemies".
Takhteshwar temple is one of the ancient temples in Gujarat, commissioned by Maharaja Takhatsihnji in the 1893 AD. The temple has a beautiful main hall, featuring a three-eyed Lord Shiva idol, supported on 18 ornately carved pillars. Situated on the hillock in the center of the city, the temple boasts finest Gujarat style of architecture. Magnificent courtyard of the temple, boasts exquisite marble work carving is noteworthy and boasts small statue of Nandi. Sarkhej Roza: One of the most elegant architectural complexes of Ahmedabad. Grouped around a great stepped tank is the tomb of the saint, Ahmed Khattu Ganj Baksh (1445), the mosque (1451), the tombs of Muhammad Shah Begada and his queen, the palace and pavilions.
